Scientists in Belgium tested the 10 most borrowed books from the Antwerp public library and came back with some disturbing results.
Surprisingly, all 10 of the books sampled tested positive to trace amounts of cocaine. But before you head out to your local library to score, the amounts were so miniscule they'd have no effect on the human body. Your consciousness or behaviour won't change as a result of reading the tomes. Possibly more disturbing is that two of the books - Fifty Shades of Grey and Pieter Aspe's Tango - had traces of the herpes virus within them. While the discovery is telling, the researchers once again said there wasn't enough of the virus present to cause any harm to readers
