I remember several sweet shops in aiberdeen. I also remember not being able to see over the counter. But all the sweets was on shelves behind the sweetie shop man. My Pops used to take me and he would let me get a whole quarter then my Nana would give him a row for buy me so much sweets

I can remember my mum regularly taking me into the sweet shop,1971,1972. She would spend 5p on sweets for me. White mice,Black jacks and fruit salads. * +

you could get a big bag of sweets for 2p in 1971/1972 ish (nod) i'v always had a thing for bounty bars. Used to be adicted to starbars, had to have at least one a day at one point. Like a crunchie every now and then. Used to like the coconut tobbacco when i was a nipper
