Reading between the lines, it seems he had a bit of a Harvey Weinstein style thing going on. Where Weinstein used his position to prey on aspiring young women, Spacey seems to have been using his to prey on aspiring young gay men.
It's what used to be euphemistically called ''the casting couch'', where the latest hot young wannabee starlets would be promised their dreams in exchange for sexual favours. 'Suck me off and i'll make you a star', to put it bluntly. * +
