4me2, you'll have E71/72 type batt life, but no point as that realy takes the point out of Android. Ive got widgets on 3 of my 5 homescreens, and get great batt life coz i set them to update in long intervals e.g. News/Weather widget updates every 6hours, Twitter every 2hours, FB every 4hours etc...and ofcourse GMail is pushed so i dnt have to worry about that refreshing. * +

Polo then u are the only lucky ondroid user here because all over the web people crying for there poor battery life .i am also 1 of them ,ihave not read ur article yet but with task killer my phones battery life is 30 percent increased ........ * +

Polo is correct, Task Killers are a waste of time. If you want a phone that has good battery life then go get a Nokia. Android is all about the apps and the widgets. I'm running 2.3.4 on my SGS, and get a good 36 plus hours battery life out of it, that's running widgets and all kinds of other stuff. *
