Okay,so since my 1st smartphone i became used to having to reboot the phone atleast 3times a week due to RAM, and general performance. Had a lil chat with some other ex s60 users at Hofo who are also using Androids on whether rebooting them is necessary, i decided over 2weeks ago not to reboot my X10 at all, its now showing 367hours uptime (since last reboot.) thats around 15days,or just over 2wks, and its still running perfectly fine * +

I sometimes need to reboot my htc hero, keybord gets unresponsive, my gf needs to reboot her htc tatoo often. Hope they fix this in 2.1 for the hero, but have had no luck finding when the update will be available. * +

...despite heavy useage, had it download well over 1gb over HSDPA the other sunday worth of music and youtube vids, been doing tons of browsing, emails, taking a lot of pics, watching movies or episodes of fav shows etc... over these 2wks and to this day its still fast, havent had any random reboots or freezes, i use System Panel to close multiple apps when done. It seems a reboot is simply unnecessary with Androids in general, i mean if it does freeze it has that pop up like Windows to either F * +

if it does freeze it has that pop up like Windows to either Force close the app or Wait for it to respond. Do you reboot your Androids regularly? do you notice any difference? if you do reboot just try not to for a week,and see how it goes. * +

gol1ath1, hmm now that is messd up, have you tried other keyboard apps like SwitfKey? or Swype? Also try using System Panel on both your Hero and Tattoo. * +

The qwerty layout seems to work better, will see how that goes with the tatoo, i use advanced task killer, it helps * +
