Subject: opera mobile web 11.5

it looks really impressive but its the content that lets it down, if v12.x.x had the same looks I'd get it in a heartbeat, unfortunately they seem to have replaced the whole opera engine with a broken beta, the speed dial works great though and it could even be a replacement for bookmarks, you can name folders after grouping some bookmarks together and if you don't have loads of bookmarks then 16 ? folders might be more than enough * +

It's been updated again, seems bit better. Can go back a page now and seems less buggy * +

I've stopped commenting in their forum now - if you've got Mobile 12 you've got the best Android browser EVER, the lamentable 14 version is like some bedroom developers first attempt at a browser, and a r e t a r d e d developer at that. Don't even go there. * +

Yes, and you can have that installed ALONGSIDE the Webkit abomination should you be so minded, as it installs as Opera Classic. * +

On a side note: someone in the Opera forums referred to this debacle as Operas 'New Coke' moment, and this deliberately targeted release of the re-badged 12 certainly lends weight to that position. *
