Hi,I'm fairly new to android phones,I've just heard about Applanet,is it safe to use? *

As safe as anything else - there's no such thing as truly 'safe' when downloading and installing stuff from the internet; even the Android Market had some malicious apps which are deleted as they're noticed, but Applanet is no more dangerous than that. If you're worried, install something like Lookout or AVG antivirus, but I've used it for a while with no problems. *
