where one falls slightly short, the other pips it. notice the word slightly tho. both are superb handsets. personally I went for the s2 tho and stick with that opinion. * +

I have the sensation,i looked at both phones,i found the galaxy feels less s y,thats my only critisism of it really. * +

exactly.. htc is second to none in build quality. take a gs2 in one hand and sensation or dhd or incredible in other, you will feel the difference. But samsung found some merits in its build. its superlight and dont have the overheating issue. I read somewhere, (i think its samfirmware) at the time of gs2 release that gs2 initial prototypes were metal built and sammy engineers avoided it to overcome the heating issue of exynos chipset and to make it more thinner by avoiding the * +
