Yep, SONY have done a great job, i heard that the Ion will have a magnesium back cover 
it got all the things the Xperia S is missing, but the Xperia S looks better than Ion, lol. Anyway id say go for it, as long as ATT are good with updates, heard the Captivate had a lot of drama with its updates. * +

ha ya I'm a se freak lol I has the x10 from them no updates but its better getting rid of everything ATT I have the play now I'm satisfied but ion seems great just wish I had hdmi * +

They truely ruined the X10, i remember when the rest of us got 2.3.3 on our X10s, ATT announced they wouldnt go futher than 2.1, sad realy as the X10 was an absolute blast to use on 2.3.3, i use mine to back up media and my GS2 apps now, the X10 XDA forum is now full of goodbye topics, we've all moved on. It has a pixel density of 323ppi? almost equal as iphone (326ppi) but ion packs a 4.5inch screen (chin) sounds gud * +
