They are in alphabetical order, so ye, G, Gingerbread should be 2.3 and then H, HoneyComb should be 3.0 * +

Yep, thats how they are, they seem to have startd frm C. C: Cupcake (1.0-1.5), D: Donut (1.6), E: Eclair (2.0-2.1), F: Froyo (Froze Yoghurt) (2.2), then Gingerbread, Honeycomb, after that apparently it could be Ice-Cream. * +

but most off the phones out there just now vant have 3.0 on them cos off the spec there setting for it and 2.3 is a stop gap till the 3.0 is out most phones that are out just now will not see 2.3 on them only new phones *
