in your file manager in options check to show hidden folder or if you have xplore or any other file manager installed, create a folder with folder name starting with a dot . Like .x x x or .napster 
the content in that folder wont show up in gallery. That is a simple way to do so or download an app from play store * +

audio manager is a great one. shows up as audio manager on app list and when you click into it,it looks like different system volume controls. but push and hold the top and enter password gets you into your hidden files * +
