AngryBirds for Android has just recieved an update adding another 45levels to the game, it also now brings support for devices with QVGA displays (e.g. Htc Wildfire, X10mini etc...) , as well as bug fixes, one of which being the blank screen bug in 1.6. It remains a free game for us, you can update/install now from Android Market OR go to Getjar. details: http://is.gd/gSwH8 * +

at first sight(probably about 2months back) i thought it is 3d game. I had no idea what the gameplay will be like. after first installation(about a week back), i played it in n900 and got a bit dissapointed. while its just a fine game, i expected too much. yet played and completed 3 levels each with, probably 20sub levels. it is massive hit only because there's a version for maemo users-game hungry users and the stat of download of maemo convinvced other user that this game is superb, else its * +

..just a normal game, nothing so extraordinary. * +

I doubt it was the stats of Maemo users who downloaded it that convinced others to want this game, its all due to it being such a simple and fun game to quickly play for 10-15mins, thats why its in such high demand. * +

If any OS convinced other OS users to want this game, then it was iOS, not Maemo. Maemo is tiny compared to iOS and Android. Most people haven't even heard of it. * +
