Android is just 10million units away from being the number one OS Globaly, it managed to go from 3.5percent share in 09 Q3 to 25.5percent in Q3 2010 according to Gartner: http://is.gd/gUJi8 ,now take into consideration that the Samsung Galaxy-S has managed 3million units in the USA alone, consider that it was just launchd in Japan with high demand, put that together with the DesireHD launching... *

launching Globaly, Htc Wildfire and X10mini/Pro are flying off the shelves, the Samsung Galaxy 5 and other mid to low end Sam Androids are also seeing great sales, SE X8 has also been well received, the original Desire and X10 are now very well priced, Droid X and Droid 2 continue to gain momentum etc...we could see Android at number one or EXTREMELY close to it this time next year. *
