Some mobiles have andriod 2.2 while some got andriod 2.1.my question is that can we update andriod os in every andriod set when any update comes or just limited sets?like Apple iOS u can update any iphone except old 1g or 2g * +

I think that the only Android device that you can do that to is Google's Nexus. All other Android devices have to wait until the manufacturers have finished adapting it to their devices. * +

I like Android man, but the way Google handles it, pure . Many phones are just getting 2.2 and 2.3 is expected in 2 weeks. I'm a fan, but it is a shame die hard fanboys make it seem as no nig deal. * +

Wouldn't bother with the Vodafone update, it's full of even more bloatware. One of the reasons why I flashed my X10, just to get rid of all the Vodafone cr*p. * +
