so in order to keep your root, you must disable the automatic updates the Amazon send out. there's 3 methods for that 1 being a script, 1 being droidwall and the last being moving the ota certs out of their correct folder. haven't done this step yet, when I have I'll post the xda link for it.. * +

what are your favourite launchers to use on tablets btw.. got apex on it, but it looks a tiny bit stuttery so far.. * +

this is the method I followed to block any further firmware updates being pushed to the Kindle by Amazon.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2086450 it took me a while to follow it correctly because I had a windows7 laptop that doesn't have all the same features accessible by the means described, but it ended in success.. anyway, as you were :) *
