It's not old it only came out last August I think, they just made an 8 inch version so doubt they'll do another one any time soon. I think it's a great tablet for drawing now that sketchbook pro has palm rejection and smudge plus the free PhotoShop that comes with it is so much easier to do photo manipulation than on a pc. Only bad thing I'd say is that there aren't many games and apps optimised for it but I just install the apps from my galaxy s3 * +

I have the S3 for games, note 10.1 will be for music, movies, digital art + photo editing and some moderrate gaming, what ever is available * +

Glad i went for 32GB version as my S3 has 16Gb and it ain't enough but i have a 64GB SDCard and i ordered the Samsung 64Gb Ultra Class 10 80mbps SDCard for my Note 10.1 * +

I have a 32 gig card and use directory bind to move apps to it and it doesn't slow down at all. I use it for emulators as it is bit faster than the s3. Works great if you get a ps3 controller and sixaxis app. Most games are harder to play on it with touch screen. It's great for streaming * +

360 controller work also yes ? seen a guy use one for onlive which i'd never use, from benchmarks my S3 LTE beats the Note 10.1 * +

You have to root it and get a controller app so you can map the buttons. I use the sixaxis app for mine with ps3 wireless but guess it works with wired too. You'll need an otg cable too. *
