If you want ultimate battery then location services untick, have no notifications from apps or games, have no widgets that use background data, cycle your battery on a regular basis, maybe easy battery saver may help too but didn't see any difference. Having auto sync also drains battery on accounts and social sites like facebook so having manual sinc maybe better. * +

Turning down the brightness helps. On my wildfire android was the main thing that used most of the battery, on S Advance its the screen so i assume it will be same for you. * +

turn off wifi, blutooth, gps and background data which is found in accounts and charge with the device turned off * +
