Guys.. Not even 10 days passed having my new Xperia U and I found 5 dead pixels. They are evident only on dark colours, mostly on black and don't show up on brighter colours such as white or yellow. It's display was the most adorable part for me.. Feeling so sad now! Didn't expect this from Sony.. As per I've searched in these 2 days, Sony covers more than 2 dead pixels under warranty. What you guys think, will I get my phone replaced? * +

You never know, it depends whats cheaper for them, they may just replace the whole phone if its too much of hassle to repair, depends on your region i guess. * +

I haven't gone yet to the service centre as my town doesn't have one. But those defective pixels are evident only on black colour and very lightly on dark blue colour. They don't show at all on white or yellow colours. So, they might be stuck pixels. So, if they are then does Sony cover stuck pixels too under warrenty? * +

Havent a clue mate, you'll have to ask them, if you can, try contact Sony Mobile India via Twitter or Facebook, tell them your problem and they give you much more informed advice on what you should do and what they will do. * +

Thanks a lot Polo.. I'll contact them through facebook. Seems better way. Still it's gonna be a hassle as I'll have to travel to another city for service centre. * +
