mate of mine is torn between these two, galaxy tab 2.70 or galaxy tab 7.0 plus. hes biased towards the 7.0 plus because its got 16gb internal compared to the others 8gb internal, plus the 7.0 has a 1.2ghz dual core as opposed to the 1.0ghz dual core on the 2.70. hes not fussed about jellybean but the display quality is important to him.............. * +

obviously the 7.0 plus is old stock but its brand new. someone has told him the 2.70 has a better screen than the older 7.0 plis but I thought they both used exactly the same panels am I correct? according to the samsung website both have the same wsvga 1024x600 pls display and same pixel density, but his mate seems to thing the 2.70 has better brightness. is this true? anyone know? * +

ive searched online and unable to find any evidence to back his claim of the 2.70 having a brighter or better screen. I know the 2.70 specs were downgraded to compete with other cheap tablets. although why anyone would spend 180 english pounds on either of these tabs is beyond me, especially when you can get the nexus 7 for just another 20 quid! but hes determined he wants a samsung. everyone to their own thing I guess. * +

true, but then the same could also be said for anything! although I guess the absence of a rear camera and memory card slot would put some off in the first place. at the end of the day it all depends on what you need, and everybodys needs are different after all. * +

yeah true i did have a nexus 7 went faulty so got a KFHD which does same thing was gunna get a tab 2 7inch but wasnt sure on app2sd * +
