although in all fairness, you get far better allowances with todays contracts. the only real complaint I have is that you should be able to upgrade every 12 months. because 35 quid a month is a lot of money over the course of a year.

yeah, even if its an option that you'd pay for or trade in your old phone for a newer model. Here in S.A. Cell C has introduced 1,6,12,18 and 24 month contracts, great idea but when you take a 12 month contract you pay double the instalment sad but if you have the cash then its great thumbs-up * +

well to be honest I have no knowledge of the deals in your country, but if you want a high end phone in the UK you are usually expected to pay at least 35 english pounds sterling per month and not be able to upgrade for 24 months. not only that but a lot of our providers have stopped their 14 day return policy, so you have to choose your phone very carefully or else be stuck with something you dont like for 2 years. nightmare! I suspect it was stopped because too many people were taking advantage of it and there was a glutt of 14 day old phones that they couldnt sell as new. money lost at the * +

here you have 7 days to return it, and i cant remember if its still aplicable but if you've made calls for more than 7 or 14 minutes, cant remember which, you can't return it. * +

Yeah, my contract is 36 pounds a month for 2 years. I used to upgrade every year, but my phone bills were a lot higher then cos I used to go way over on texts and Internet lol. Since I got wifi in my house, Internet isn't a problem anymore. 2 years is a long wait to upgrade. It should be 18 months max. The last 6 months is horrible! Though as my S3 is so much better than any phone I've ever had then maybe it won't be so bad. * +

18 months would be ok, but 24 is just far too long. its like the difference between the original galaxy S and todays S3! big changes in 2 years. (taking into account that the S3 was lauched may last year in the UK of course) * +

Well I went from the Sony Ericsson Satio to the Galaxy S3. The difference between them is considerable! * +
