don't know what it is, but half the ppl who mention it as flashing cannot turn their fones on anymore.. *

if its flashing as they are turning it on theres not enough power in the battery just needs charging might be best pulling the battery out and putting in again the device may also get hot ive had that happen twice my one x cant pull the battery though. so it might not be completly dead *
