End Of what? , i asked you the LINUX OS homepage link and you give this :p that site is a blog of linux foundation for news on latest linux related tech... not of some LINUX OS which you claim, if there is a LINUX OS then there should be a download link of it. You probably googled LINUX OS DOWNLOAD or something then you saw linux.com and you got so excited that you posted it here without even checking it out. If you were referring to the article mentioning linux as OS, you must know that people also use term linux os to describe any or all os related with linux, they wont go saying debian, ubuntu, fedora, bsd because there are many... since linux is at their core the term linux os is used mostly for desktop distros (example, mozilla is compatible with windows, mac and linux) hence the confusion. That article is misleading though, it covers every distro which is linux related and named it linux os so * +

... the author wont have to name distros since there are really many linux distros, and no OS named LINUX OS powers everything from new york stock exchange to servers,super computers,mobiles,etc as mentioned in that article those are powered by Distros with linux as their kernel proving my point, thats why reading books from reliable authors is good. The term linux os is used to describe a os with linux kernel by majority today, if you will try to find articles with this term you will mostly get * +

Dude just use your common sense, if you cannot find any OS named LINUX OS to download nor any home page of it, it simply does not exist you really dont need articles to realise that, as for linux, its just the kernel the hompage/source is at kernel.org . If you still think im wrong ask Linus Torvalds yourself, since you wont listen to us. As we are too offtopic and im bored of it, this was really my last for this. * +

... This is a article on linux kernel and os gnu, bsd... And also covers the terms used today(though short) by gnu project on their own site, this project started even before linux or even bsd(i think) and this GNU was the os which was used with linux kernel when it was released, hope this solves your confusion, if not then thats it... :- http://is.gd/AhHukU * +
