this is for those obvs who do or would use torrents but for being blocked by their mobile networks. in the UK T-Mobile blocked such apps from working, but I'm now on my second round of mobile torrent downloads and I wanna check if the reason I think it's working will apply to others. it could just be EE have a new policy, or they will block me later on. but if it's down to the encryption feature in the tTorrent pro app, it might work for everyone.. they say this feature stops the network bein * +

being able to throttle back on download speeds by somehow masking it, if that's the way they block it, is this a workaround. anyway I'm curious if it will do the same things for you too.. there is a free version of tTorrent in playstore but I can't remember if it has the encryption feature as I paid for the pro version some time ago. * +

I don't get how telcos are allowed to do this the same with restrictions on tethering, Why should they be allowed to dictate how anyone use the data they've paid for? * +

I've been told by a T-Mobile customer service worker, it costs them a lot more than ordinary data traffic and they can't afford to let ppl do it. * +

I really don't buy that, not saying the t mobile worker is lying, it just means the unlimited data plans they offer is false advertising, cause they know without the use of torrent sites or tethering to a pc, then unlimited data on a phone means nothing * +

I've paid 15 pound a month in the past just for mobile internet, and they cut me off after a fair use warning. that was ''unlimited'' *
