so when I google search anything it gives me the list of results. when u select one I'm given three options (based on my number of browsers). internet ,chrome or Firefox. u then select one then underneath u get the option either 'always'or 'just once'. I select always and it tells me to go to apps and celear defaults which I've done but it always brings me back to the option screen. ..... * +

my question is. ..how can I set it so every time I search for something it automatically uses one browser instead of showing me the options. I would rather just use firefox. the same goes for music. .select a track and you're presented with options based in how many apps u own to support the request. it's tedious. u just want one option for music, net and messaging etc * +

..me,personally,like all that 'sweet trouble' to pick the application to execute certain action (play a track,open an image,open the link..imagine doing this 'select me me mee' action if have 'round thousand installed appz,lol) but if you find this boring,try Default App Manager Pro,it should allow you to set default apps for different types of actions.. * +

if you're clearing the default app for opening searches for example, aren't you just clearing the preferred app you've just selected?? if you had a default app already set for that function, it wouldn't be bringing up the selection dialogue in the first place would it?? * +

I think I know what he means, it happens on my s3 when I'm on xvideos.com. I click on a video and it asks if I want to open it using video player or internet and I click video player 'always' but then it will ask me everytime I click on a video even though I clicked the 'always' option before... * +

after selectin always dnt go bk in application n clear defaults that wen u reset the app so wen eva u open anythin relatin it wil ask u to confirm whether to use it jus that once or always. * +

You must stop clearing the defaults, the phone gives you that instruction as a guide for when you want to change the app for that action. *
