I think it's just copies of the file names in sd and the real files in external. Bit like using directory bind it looks like you have twice as many things but you'll have more storage in your sd * +

as a solution I popped another folder inside external_SD folder and added that onto the end of the script and placed a .nomedia file inside the external_sd folder * +
