am using htc one, does anyone know how to stop media automatically bein added to my gallery? Knows theres a option whether to download the media automatically upon usin wifi or data. I checked that option on which i want it to be downloaded automatically but dnt want it to be savin in my gallery. Thanks in advance to any reply * +

what you need is a .nomedia placed in the whatsapp folder, I'll let someone else explain what to do as I cba * +

you should have a whatsapp folder on your internal **oops my bad** SDcard.. use a file manger to get yourself there, and just immediately inside the folder create a new text file **this should be an option in most file managers**.. it will ask you to add a title 1st and instead of blah blah.txt make it .nomedia **with nothing in front of the dot** then it ask for the content of the file itself. here just type anything short. then save the file and from the next time you start your fone stuff wil * +

3mel comes to the rescue ps getting people not to send you dirty pics via whatsapp would probably stop the problem of the pics showing up in your gallery as well... Pps the .nomedia will work to hide your p*rn as well, just remember that any folder you make a .nomedia file it is the folders in that folder that the gallery won't see ie folder file folder inside is hidden p*rn/.nomedia /vids * +
