Ok I know there loads of SMS locks but I'm looking for a particular one that locks only the messages from my contacts I want to lock, gosms has this feature were you can lock individual contacts, I don't want to lock the whole app just few contacts in my messages, I prefer to use the built in SMS that came with phone but can lock certain incoming messages. * +

..have you tried Chomp sms?..as I could remember when used it,it is loaded with customization options among which is even to lock a certain reply of a contact (long press on it in chat view)..does also a blacklist and many other blahblahs..personally I'm liking CallSms blocker (aFirewall)..it blocks but can also keep messages hidden (protect conversation).. * +

So you're hoping to find a way to cheat on your partner without the risk of her seeing the messages and whilst also removing her suspicion because you'll appear to leave your phone unlocked all the time? That about right? * +

that depends laity, hiding messages is one thing, but seeing a message that you can't read because someone has chosen to lock it is another... (dead2) * +

why assume it's about cheating? what if he gets update messages of his bank account transactions via sms and doesn't want prying eyes? * +

Spot on... nah as above person said really, I don't mind if family wife or friends use my phone if they want but no need to be reading my messages etc. as above person said I get personal messages from bank and few others, heck if I was a cheater I'd have installed shadysms :) *
