The sony is dust and water resistant. Not Fall and damaged resistant lol. All phones can fall and be damaged. So yes it depends in the angle of impact. The surface it falled on to etc etc.. * +

ive dropped my s4 mini about 5 times now, no broken screen, get a decent cover for the phone(my s2 fell 2 stories screen still intact), most covers add that extra protection *
