goodbye compact standalone cameras then lol. I forsee a future where you will only be able to buy SLR cameras.

Thats it right there, we may not be far, 2-3years at most unless we get another disruption like the iPhone. * +

I can see where your coming from regarding the apple experiance but I could never live with the concept of being tied to apples apr*n strings thats my problem with ios, and I also look at the tech specs of the iphone which also puts me off. this is why ios isnt for me and never will be, but everyone is to their own thing. I would also dislike paying for the same apps on ios that are free on google play * +

My idea of a smartphone is being able to do what I want without being preached to by somebody else where I download it from and how. I also dislike the lack of flash considering a lot of sites still rely on it. and flash is as easy as pie to get working on jellybean. ios just has far too many restrictions for me that I could never live with, and google play is quickly catching up with ios in terms of the number of apps. there is also a higher percentage of free apps on android as iam sure you know * +

people may harp on about viruses on google play, and while it certainly is less secure than the apple store ive been using android since day one and never had a virus, so I really dont understand how people manage to get them in the first place? *
