Java fones would be safer as you'd have to activate the Java app yourself.. but if you use a firewall no data will be leaving your android should you be unfortunate enough to install some malware.. * +

viruses? no need to worry if not rooted, if rooted that mean u r advance user, u can do checking every each single file, no need a. v. then..... (joking) * +

no need for antivirus apps, only use them if you connect ya android to a pc and download files to it... even then it's a completely different OS system. *
