got my note 3 n9005 on the three network today but iam curious as to why there is no option in the network mode/settings to switch to LTE/4G. all I have is CDMA only or GSM/CDMA. although iam aware that 4G wont be available on three uk network untill december surely the menu option should br there? if I put my three sim in my LTE galaxy S3 I get 3g only or 3g stroke 4g, (LTE) so its clearly not a sim issue. can anyone shed any light on this? * +

you'll probably be on 3 firmware which could have any number of weird quirks to it like keeping LTE off till signalled by the network.. try changing the date to 2014 (dontknow) * +

that doesnt surprise me. I only got it on three cos it was a much better deal than the other networks. I wanted to pay something for the phone to avoid a high line rental. phones 4u asked for 200 pound on a 43 pound a month line rental. I went to the three shop paid 100 pound on a 34 pound a month contract bit of a difference! although better still deals can be found online obviously * +

I have something to say about the screen though, I know the resolution is higher than the S3, but its not that of which I speak, the brightness of the display is far better than the S3 and my mates S4 is just the same. samsung have really improved it iam impressed. I can only assume the S3 is obviously quite a dim amoled display then? but this is what the S3 should have been like. * +

anybody that might be concerned about the brightness of amoled tech on the S4 and NOTE 3 has nothing to worry over put it that way. big improvent on the S3. (although interestingly my S2 was actually brighter than both the S3s I had. ive now sold my S3 just now infact) * +

my s4 is still terrible in strong sunlight as was my s2. glad I didn't get an s3 if that's the case. * +

YES it is the case I can assure you. ive had two S3 models the original i9300 non 4g and the i9305 4g. both were the same in terms of display brightness * +
