..ooo..Note 8.0..I'm thinking about this device for quite a long time,wheather to get it or not..had a chance to grab a lte version (5120) aand now-a-days thinking to take a 'plain' 5100,GSM version..so,afaik,both (5100 and lte 5120)'s got both variants-gsm and wi-fi..should be able to make phone calls,from a gsm variant,of course.. * +

well I asked samsung and even they didnt seem to know, when I asked the question all I got back was: its a tablet sir. tell me something I dont know! most tablets with a sim slot are just for data but a few do both * +

well I may have mine late tomorrow afternoon so you may know before me! I did look at the tab 2 and latest tab 3 series 7 inch but they all have such naff processors. samsung have gone intel with the tab 3 anyway not good for some apps. * +

I dont want the note 10.1 too dam big. the laughable thing is the old tab plus 7 inch has a faster cpu than the tab 2 samsung cut the spec down on the tab 2 series to compete with budget tablets. god knows how intel managed to perswade samsung to go with them for the tab 3, must have purely been a cost issue. personally I wouldnt touch a droid tablet with an intel cpu with a bargepole. even if they are very power efficiant. exynos all the way for me * +
