The Samsung Galaxy Round offers what is called the roll effect where the phone is tipped downward in the landscape mode and shows the time, missed calls and battery level. Other features include something called the Gravity Effect which offers visual interaction with the screen.The display is off while the music player is running, so you can press the left side of the screen to play the previous track,and tap the right side of the screen to play the next track.The 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen offers resolution of 1080x1920,and is powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz processor with 3GB of RAM on board.A 2800mAh battery powers the unit which has Android 4.3 pre-installed. looks like it's been left on a cars dashboard on a really hot day..
in the future there could be a stunning application for this technology, but right now it looks pointless.. * +

This seems to be more of a showcase by Samsung, the device is getting limited release and a 1000USD price tag, they don't plan on selling many, they want to see the public's reaction, more research and development than anything else going on here. * +
