i got a samsung s2 i was wondering if i can update the firmware from androivd version 2.3.3 and where to dwnload a version from * +

if you want to keep things official you will need to download the samsung kies software onto a computer which is on the samsung website. it works with windows xp or newer. launch the software, then connect your phone with the supplied data lead, kies should then automatically recognise the device and tell you if an update is available. you must ensure your device has at least 70 percent charge prior to attempting any update otherwise kies will automatically abort the installation if an update is available. * +

actually after you have downloaded kies and launch it, click the help tab and click on check for updates before you connect your phone to ensure you have the latest version, that may sound odd but kies can sometimes have updates even just after you have downloaded it lol. maybe when samsung have not updated their website.iam unsure how far the official updates go with the S2 does anybody know? but I imagine ICS maybe the limit.if you want anything more recent than what samsung can issue you will have to the unofficial route. * +
