its happning on my frnds ion... even though he upgraded to 4.1.2 its still not getn solved... could dis be battrey problem?? or does he need to do a clean install * +

if he's rooted try deleting the batterystats bin file or using the battery calibration app from the store. it does the same thing. when you switch roms the fone will still be using the old stats, giving a possible false fully charged reading.. * +

xperia ion... oh its stock.. not rooted, pretty annoyng if u charge it.. it jumps from 1 per to 25 per suddnly.. lol n the phone has unremovable battrey..

I've had fones do this where the pattern stayed there until the fone was fully drained. next time the fone switches off try turning it back on and running it down properly.. if it comes back on, the battery charge wasn't being reported correctly. Android can be a bit shiite like this at times. avoid turning the fone off or on while plugged in and charging. that's given me massive jumps in reported charge levels in the past.. * +

sounds like its battery stats problem, happens to me sometimes when I change roms... just let battery run flat then recharge. * +
