I like to listen music on my phone sometimes but i'm not happy with how some songs sound, like some of them are not loud and clear enough. It's not the speakers, some songs sound really good, i'm sure it's something abt bit rate so i wonder what music player you use on your phone. I'm just on Gingerbread o.s. so maybe you remember what music player you used when you had Gingerbread too. I like Aimp but it's not for android and i believe the classic Winmap is pretty lame. * +

When I had a phone with Gingerbread I found that Winamp Pro was about the best, but you can now only get the free version since AOL does not support Winamp any longer, and that is about as bad as all the other free media players available for Gingerbread. My advice is to upgrade to a phone with Ice Cream Sandwich because Play Music works much better than Winamp Pro did. The Kyocera Hydro with ICS I bought 3 months ago only cost me 54 USD, so you should be able to get a good deal on an ICS phone too. * +

Better bitrate equals better quality, the downside being bigger file sizes but with memory cards being cheap enough nowadays then that really shouldn't be a problem * +
