Only had this phone a few weeks and just took my first video and the sound is terrible. Quite loud hissing and unless you put your mouth close to the mic, quite low. I also tried hq mp3 recorder and again, hissing and a tad muf*led. I did the exact same things on my S advance but that was much better, much louder, clearer and less hiss. Does anybody here have an s3 mini and had this problem, or is it supposed to be like that? * +

I have just done a test in a silent room and recorded a video, if i don't speak the hissing noise isn't actually bad, it's when i speak, or there's any sort of noise. * +

Try a using a good headset. The microphones on them tend to be of a higher quality than what you see on a lot of phones. * +

Unfortunately a lot of phone manufacturers do not think microphone quality is a factor in a good phone. This has been a problem since mobile phones became accessible to everybody. *
