The only logical explanation I can come up with is you've got your self an iphone 3G and not the 3GS, but they've stopped selling the 3G a few years earlier, and if your mate charged you almost 50 pounds you got rorted hard, one thing I can't believe is the resale value of 2nd hand iPhones, it's ridiculous people wil pay for it * +

well iphones do tend to hold their value well but at the same time a lot of people do have a funny ideas of the value of secondhand goods. Check out my reply on apple forum regarding 3g or 3gs * +
