ive allways disliked the iphone for a variety of different reasons, but when a friend offered me a 3gs for 45 english notes I thougt why not you can afford to be curious at that sort of price. * +

the 3gs was released in 2009 but was still being sold in britain in late 2012. One thing has shocked me, the amount of apps that wont run on the 3gs cos they require ios 7 which the 3gs doesnt officially support. For a phone that was still being sold in at the latter half of 2012 I think that is bad. * +

and whilst I allready knew there were more free apps on android than ios Iam quite shocked to see how small the selection of free apps is on the apple store, The conclusion I have reached is that if your gonna get an iphone you must get a recent model otherwise its a waste of space. And quite frankly I havnt seen anything that would perswade me to switch to apple * +

ive still got a first generation galaxy ace at home and even though gingerbread means you cant download every android app, there are far more that run on the galaxy ace than the 3gs. So its more usefull. So as you have gathered by now iam not impressed with my first iphone experiance, and for that reason iam selling it on cos ios will never be for me. Android rules ok! * +

I recently played with my friends iphone 4s and despite the fact its running ios 7 I cant see any major differences to the 3gs thats running 6.1.3. It makes me laugh how many apple fanboys have complained after upgrading to ios7 because they despise it, like its such a big difference, cos me and my mate are struggling to see a difference apart from the obvious speed improvement. I think its all over inflated to be honest and maybe apple dont deserve the bad rap they have had with ios 7. But they do deserve bad rap on failing to support the 3gs enough, a phone that was still being sold just ove * +

I know you could jailbreak a 3gs and maybe install ios7 but I dont believe the phones components are man enough to run it so I wouldnt even go there. * +

the majority of apps should be backwards compatible so they also work on older iphone models. * +
