my dad has just got one, lovely looking little phone in white, and the display is surprisingly bright and colourfull. but the internal memory, around 200mb, what a joke and a half! it may come with a micro sd card but you cant move the preinstalled apps to the card obviously, and there are far too many of them. hes allready running out of memory and hardly downloaded any apps lol. you would have thought samsung would have either cut down on the bloatware with this phone or at least gave it around 4gb of storage wouldnt you? its allmost to the point of being unusable, even as budget smartphone * +

ive installed an app mover for him but not even some of the downloaded apps can be moved. but I did warn him about this before he bought it! oh well guess some people just refuse to listen. and lets face it dads allways think they are right dont they?! * +

if u are familiar with rooting, then u should try tweaking with some init.d script. check my previous post. read carefully and don't messup your device bcoz I'll be not responsible to your device, thats well said on xda * +

Can it not be updated to Jellybean 4.3? (from 'settings'/'about phone') as you can move the bulk of most apps with that (and the horrible black notification bar becomes transparent). * +

1st Gen Galaxy Ace can't go further than Android2.3.6 as far as I know, and back in those days we could move apps to SD thats why it came with so little Internal mem, but now Google has forced devs to make apps install and cache only in the Internal mem, although Samsung fixed that in Android4.2.2. *
