Well i did fix it but now my phone is saying memory card damaged.i put it in another phone and it said the same thing.i didnt do anything to it so how or why could it be damaged.is there anyway to fix this cos if not then i have lost all my photos and music * +

the card is corrupted, not thru anything you've done.
it just happens.
try taking the card out and connect it up to a laptop via a card reader. even tho it's faulty, some times the data can still be salvaged. but stop trying to use it for the time being... * +

there also software you can look for to put on your laptop that can sometimes retrieve data for you off cards an such like.. just google ''data recovery app'' *
