Ok so a factory reset didn't work. I flashed the firmware using Odin. What a headache that was. Finding all the files, downloading them, unzipping them, my phone refusing to go into download mode, first attempt failing, restarting the computer etc, but it's finally done. * +

Now I have the hassle of trying to get everything back to how it was before. It didn't all come back automatically like it did last time I had a reset. * +

..that 'getting things done like it was before' was always a bitter-sweat kind of a work for me,lol..I always liked to pack my phones,filling them with stuff like a turkey on a Thanks Giving Day, lol..now the most important thing is that your phone is working well now (I hope),so take care and don't install too much appz,being near the upgrade to S5 and perhaps you'd like to sell then that s3.. * +

Yeah it's working fine. I did put the Orange branded firmware on it instead of the regular firmware because Orange is my service provider. Never mind. New phone coming soon so it doesn't matter. * +

i had a samsung phone do that the only way to fix it is to put the software back on the phone i no you'll lose everything but *
