If you're talking about KitKat then that is a general problem, Android System and Google Services are reportedly the culprit, it affects all phones updated to KitKat (Nexus phones, Samsungs, LGs, Sonys, Htcs etc...), some more than others, each phone has mixed experiences depending on what apps are Disabled and so on.

Bulls**t my nexus 4 and 5 and 7 run fine oh and so does my LG g2 * +
