LG's latest flagship has gone official with the 1st QHD (2560x1440 pixels) 5.5 True HD-IPS+ LCD display with a 534PPI, it also bring LaserAF(Auto Focus) to its 13MP Camera along with OIS Plus tech, 1st brought in the LG G Pro2 as well as a dual-LED flash. The G3 is made out of polycarbonate with a special layer on top that gives it a finish close to metal, unlike the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2, the G3 is unfortunately not Water or Dust Resistant. The G3 comes with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU with Adreno 330 GPU as the S5, Z2 and One M8, but it will now have to drive a lot more pixels. The G3 will be available in two variants, one with 16GB internal mem with 2GB RAM and the other a 32GB internal with 3GB RAM. The G3 finally brings a MicroSD slot and a removable 3000mAh battery. Audio fans will appreciate the 1W speaker at the back of the G3, which is similar to the one found in the LG G Pro 2. The G3 will be available S.Korea next week, with a later June launch in Europe: [link] http://is.gd/s9zQrj[/link] * +

LG G3 hands-on First look The LG G2 is a living legend for its razor thin bezels but it's time to pass on the torch. The compactness spell worked once again and the LG G3 fits a massive 5.5 QHD screen in a body barely bigger than that of its competitors. Who needs phablets... * +

My wait for the Galaxy Note 4 continues, the G3 just doesn't tick the right boxes, 1st is the Snapdragon 801 CPU having to push a QHD display, and then there's the lack of some top end features, it has No MicroUSB3.0 (Note 3 and S5 have this), No water + dust resistance (S5 and Z2 have this) and then there's the matter of the 16GB model coming with 2GB RAM for a phone with a QHD display, very disappointing, I see the use of S801 CPU + 2GB RAM for a QHD display as a major flaw over time. I hope future QHD phones come with the Snapdragon 805 with Adreno 420 GPU with 3GB RAM standard. * +

The LG G3 is using a smaller camera sensor than the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2. It's using the same Sony Exmor RS IMX135 as last years Galaxy S4 Exynos Octa and LG G2, just with OIS+ added: [link]http://is.gd/S7bEIg[/link] * +

in my opinion the note 4 needs to ship with a QHD display like the G3 although there is a rumour that 64 bit processors will be delayed untill early next year, at least we wont see the snapdragon 808 and 810 64 bit cpus untill then according to various sources I have been checking out, which means its unlikely the note 4 will be 64 bit. although despite that, some sources still claim 64 bit droid devices will appear towards the end of this year including tablets. * +

This whole 64bit hype Apple started makes no sense to me at all, not a single benefit has been shown. The Galaxy Note 4 should have a Snapdragon 805 CPU with Adreno420 GPU as well as the 1st SuperAMOLED QHD display, 3GB RAM on all variants, and its also said to be both Water+Dust Resistant, so it should have a IP67 rating like the GS5. * +
