It can run 2.3, will see an official update? I doubt it, the guys at XDA are nearly done with its 2.2 ROM and then they'll work on 2.3. * +

Sms memory depends on how much internal mem you have (upto 470mb) so its basicaly unlimited. * +

Well, i just read a reply by Karun at Esato saying that the SE Engineers never did get to work with 2.2 Froyo and have skipped to 2.3 Gingerbread as the next wave of SE Androids will be released with 2.3, there's no word on whether SE will release GB for the X10, but it would be a great idea IMO, i would stick to their Androids if they do. * +
