Shame this great htc phone hasnt got amoled screen would look great on it been very big gla55 screen but love the new htc sence all other htc needs it now * +

I dont totaly get the hype around AMOLED, i had a N8 for a month between Nov and Dec, and besides showing great Black and Whites, other colours were over saturated/totaly blown out of proportion and even the quality and look of fonts is degraded, not a big loss IMO, i prefer good LCDs. Did you get the Desire HD or just try it out? * +

Amoled does have over saturated colours. But both screen technologies have their pros and cons. It also depends what you like. Some like the colours the way they are produced with amoled, some dont. Super lcd can be clearer however. * +

yes i think the same, amoled screens are . blow colours way out of proportion. preffer the hd over desire * +

I prefer amoled myself even though slcd maybe more realistic. But everyone is to their own thing. *
