which is better get now for all round use and updates as i can get both these phones on my upgrade for same price but with nexus s get the extra 500mb internet and wifi clound access * +

I'd go for the Nexus S due to: Its Google's own phone so it will recieve updates 1st, it has a larger battery (1500mah vs. 1230mah in the DesireHD), it has a better design, comes with Android2.3, 16GB internal mem and better graphics processor. * +
