I was using an app called Battery Booster, it clears the cache and other irrelevant memory space as well as stopping unnecessary programs and services(this includes the network services).So in the middle of a call the network vanishes and it cuts.After uninstalling this app the phone(X10) doesn't display the No Sim Card msg anymore and doesn't cut calls. *

Skype is another app I found irritating, its constant need to connect to the net and retrieve mgs led to the usage of a lot of battery usage.On average +10 percent of battery usage in 2hours when phone is idle. *
