to droid world. xda forum for Modding any thing in ur phone. ipmart forum for paid apps and game and ofcourse u have market for millions of free app.If u still need help u can ask here. * +

thanks. this might sound silly but wat is Modding. and i keep hearing about the fone being rooted. wats that. and i downloaded snes emulator. the roms never open. do i have to use a pc to download the roms * +

u actually dont need to root for normal use but if u want to try customized rom u need to root check xda forum for more detail. And for snes rom just dont tell its not working u need to tell what error it give * +

i wouldn't bother with any modding untill your pretty familiar with android and have done a lot of reading up on the subject first * +

yeah, im running android os 2.2 on my G1 thanks to rooting and then flashing a new radio, (danger) spl, and the latest cyanogenmod 6 rc3. rooting has been made easier over the course, but is to detailed and has already been covered well at other places via the net...i just got my device this January 2010...you'll get the hang of it eventually. * +

i didnt have to use a pc to download roms for nesoid, etc...i went to free-roms.com or romworld, something like that, you can google search for em though.... *
