I searched this forum for this phone and I Must say iam very surprised that nobody is discussing it considering many members on here claim to know about new devices well in advance. Has the galaxy s2 slipped through the net?! Amazing considering its the planned replacement for the very popular galaxy S. Its a dual core version with an 8 meg camera thats due this year. * +

you know I was reading a gadget magazine the other day which showed how much money phone manufacturers spend on each part of a smartphone. can you guess what part has the least investment? the battery life! that didnt surprise me in the least. the point is do we really need dual core smartphones? isnt it a bit overkill? well the magazine thinks so and so do I. * +

I think its about time they started to think more about battery life and less about extra processing power that s not even needed at present anyway. they will only increase the battery capacity to the extent that a dual core phone will run for just as long as a single core phone which is allready pretty cr*p lets be honest. * +

to improve any further would cost them too much money. this is a55 uming they will improve the capacity of the new devices which we really dont know at this stage. if they dont you wont be using your dual core phone for very long put it that way. * +
